Sightings

— Monday, ATLwood friend Marcela spotted Andrew Lincoln (Rick) from "The Walking Dead" Videodrome. According to Marcela, "He was way more handsome in real life." I welcome the Rictatorship, then (but where is David Morrissey??)

— For those who haven't heard Sam Worthington (from Avatar, who is in town filming Arnold Schwarzenegger's Ten) was arrested over the weekend for fighting. Apparently he showed up beyond tipsy at the Vortex (Midtown, I believe), and lashed out when the security wouldn't let him in (they actually ended up pepper-spraying him). He was released Sunday morning on a $453 cash bond. Worthington has been spotted around Midtown a lot recently, including at the Hudson Grille, and rumor has it that he is dating a local bartender ...

Adam Goldberg is in down filming The Anna Nicole Smith Project (I'm suddenly much more interested in it now ... ). Check out his Tumblr for some pictures from the set and also of our lovely city,

Filming Updates

The Anna Nicole Smith Project has been filming near Buckhead, GA, and has also spent some time shooting around the old Dekalb Courthouse, King Plow Arts Center and at New York Prime. The TV movie is scheduled to wrap up filming today.

— Filming for Last Vegas, starring Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Kline, moved from Las Vegas to Atlanta yesterday. They seem to be setting up around the Mailing Avenue Stageworks near Grant Park, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Ride Along, starring Ice Cube, has been filming at Elliott Street and Chapel Street.

— I'm hearing that The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will be wrapping up filming here in Atlanta November 20th, so if you haven't gotten your stalk on now is the time!

— "The Vampire Diaries" has been filming at the Depot Bar in Convington.

Michael Beach posted on his Twitter account this week that he is "headed to The ATL to start filming the new season of ‪@BET‬ 's‪ The Game.‬ It's a big 1st episode!"

Addicted is filming around Peters St, from Haynes to Fair (I don't really have any other info on this one, any help?)

Have any tips? Sightings? Encounters? Pictures? Filming news? We need 'em! Especially during this slow summer season. Drop me a line: ATLwood@cln.com or send me a tweet @keeneTV (don't forget to use the hashtag #ATLwood)!
