First Slice 11/26/12: The biggest transportation project on governor's radar is... an interchange

The transportation project that Gov. Nathan Deal holds near and dear to his heart is a massive interchange project that has no funding source, isn't the most congested bottleneck in the state, and would most benefit well-heeled GOP supporters.

An alleged shoplifter at a Lithonia Walmart died in a DeKalb County hospital yesterday after an "altercation" early Sunday morning with employees and a security guard in the parking lot, police say.

The state's new online lottery ticket sales program - which sounds like an absolute splendid idea - that was supposed to kick off on Sunday? It never did.

Everybody clap your hands for the Atlanta Falcons.

Bouncy castles are ticking time bombs, people!
