Congratulations! You've managed to survive another year. Well, just about. As the wee hours of 2012 dwindle down, there's one final test of your party-hardy fortitude: New Year's Eve.
This year, whether you're kicking it with Trinidad James at the Gold Room, piling into Underground Atlanta with thousands of others to catch the Peach Drop, or gorging on a four-course meal at Watershed on Peachtree (or maybe joining one of the many many many other new year's ever festivities), we at CL want to be there with you. Sadly, the laws of physics dictate that we can't be everywhere at once, so we need your help to chronicle how the good ole ATL gets down. You know, for the record books.
As midnight approaches snap a picture of yourself, friends, or whatever's happening around you and send it our way. It's that simple. If you can hit the shutter at midnight on the dot, even better - in fact, bonus points - but we're not going to be all that picky. After all, NYE is about having enough fun to forget about the missed opportunities of the year past and making promises to break in the next.
Send your Atlanta NYE photos and a brief description (where, when, and what kind of thing) to firstname.lastname@example.org, tag Creative Loafing on Facebook, or use the hashtag #ATLsNYE on Twitter or Instagram. We'll compile all the submissions to be featured in an online photo gallery, and consider some of the best to be included in an upcoming print issue.
Cool? Be safe y'all, and we'll catch up in lucky '13.
