Congress finally voted in favor of a fiscal cliff bill last night, which President Barack Obama said he will sign into law. Both Georgia Sens. Saxby Chambliss and Johnny Isakson supported the fiscal legislation. The same, however, can't be said for the state's Republican congressmen or Rep. John Barrow, D-Augusta.
Numerous state laws went into effect as we entered into 2013, including ones on online sales tax, abortion, charter schools, and DUI enforcement.
According to weather data collected at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, 2012 was the warmest year in Atlanta that's ever been recorded.
