- Jennifer Breit a.k.a. AJCBuzz tells about how she‬ saw Les Misérables with Hugh Jackman. "I mean I saw it *with* Hugh Jackman. In Atlanta." (He's here filming Prisoners, more info below).

- According to @‪Peachyscoop‬, "Celebs were out and about this sunny Saturday: ‪Usher ‬was spotted at Sky Zone, and Waka Flaka was at North Point Mall."


- Prisoners, starring Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal has started filming in the Stanton Woods Subdivision in Conyers. According to a story in the Newton Citizen (via OLV, who has pics) "A good bit of the film itself takes place in the subdivision and in the characters' houses." The production headquarters are said to be in Stone Mountain, where there is also filming taking place in the downtown area.

- Tyler Perry's A Madea Christmas is filming off of Macon St around McDonough's Town Square. Chad Michael Murray recently tweeted, "Tad chilly here shooting day 4 Madea Christmas. So much for Hot-lanta... " (more like Hothlanta).


- Here's some dish on the un-reality of Atlanta reality shows (and all reality shows).

- Don't forget to support your local goat: an Atlanta Doritos-eating-goat may become a Super Bowl star (but help out by giving him your vote).

- It seems that Lifetime has cancelled "‪Drop Dead Diva‬" after four seasons. ‪Farewell!‬

- However, the cable channel also has the Atlanta-filmed "Devious Maids" and a few other pilots in the wings.

- Senoia, home of "The Walking Dead," is getting a trolley for movie tours. The tours are expected to be 3 hours long and start in May.

- Check it out: "a free fan event taking place next Wednesday, January 23rd at Barnes & Noble Perimeter Center in celebration of the release of Warner Bros.' film Beautiful Creatures. Authors Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl, as well as two stars of the film, Thomas Mann and Zoey Deutch will be there to take photos and sign autographs. The event will also feature prize giveaways (a NookHD, Gift Cards and more!), goodie bags, free refreshments and an exclusive look at clips from the upcoming film.
