ATL Bookmarks: 3 Events to hit this week

There's a flurry of literary talent descending on Atlanta this week! You may have read a bit about What's New in Poetry's hosting of poets Heather Christle, Chris DeWeese, and Mark Leidner on Thursday already. Equally impressive and exciting events will be hosted by LostintheLetters and the Little Shop of Stories during the week.

The Highland Ballroom

LostintheLetters returns to the Highland Ballroom with a bill of authors brimming with strong stories to tell, including Lydia Ship, Kory Calico, and Peter Selgin.

What's New In Poetry
Jan. 31 | 8 p.m.
Emory University Bookstore

Massachusetts poets Heather Christle, Chris DeWeese, and Mark Leidner will be gracing the South for an evening of poetry at the Emory bookstore. The trio will be sharing selections from their various collections, including What Is Amazing (Christle), The Black Forest (DeWeese) and Beauty Was the Case that They Gave Me (Leidner).

Herman Parish
Jan. 31 | 8 p.m.
Little Shop of Stories

Herman Parish, nephew of Amelia Bedelia originator Peggy Parish, will be celebrating the release of two additions to the series this month: Amelia Bedelia Means Business and Amelia Bedelia Unleashed. Fans of the 50-year-strong series can celebrate with the author in Decatur Square.
