How many pens does Gov. Deal need to sign the 'bed tax?'

At least five.
Georgia Pundit just posted a short clip of Gov. Nathan Deal signing Senate Bill 24, which extends the "bed tax" and prevents a $650 million shortfall in the state's Medicaid program. We recently discussed how the governor has passed the buck on the issue. What remains uncertain, however, is the exact number of pens that will also get transferred to the Department of Community Health. Maybe one, two, or all five? Only time will tell!
