movies & tv ATLwood: Dakota Fanning preps for her birthday, makes you feel old

Sightings
- Dakota Fanning, in town filming The Last Robin Hood, was at STK (celebs love STK. It is known) on Monday night, looking chic in a black top and pants with silver shoes. She was seen eating the "Signature Birthday Cake," perhaps to kick off a weeklong celebration? She turns 19 on Saturday (I feel old).
- The AJC's Rodney Ho reported that "while having a romantic meal with my wife at The Optimist, we spied Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev ("Vampire Diaries") canoodling nearby." D'aww.
- Usher had lunch at the St. Regis on Monday, and also made a surprise visit to the "Katie" show.
Filming Updates
- "The Vampire Diaries" have been all over the place this week, starting things off at Stone Mountain Village before they moved to their studio in Decatur on Tuesday. Thursday they filmed in Covington's Town Square and on Pennington Street.
- Whispers report "Big Rich Atlanta" filmed at Blake's Thursday night.
- Prisoners, starring Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal, filmed in a vacant office building in a business park in Tucker on Thursday.
- BET's "Being Mary Jane," starring Gabrielle Union, filmed around Piedmont, Ralph McGill and Pine on Wednesday. They are also looking for extras, see below!
- Does anyone know what was filming at the Georgian Terrace on Wednesday?

Casting Calls
- Anchorman 2 is casting for extras for filming in March.
- "Being Mary Jane" is looking for male and female extras and models ages 18 and older for filming through May.
