First Slice 2/25/13: State lawmakers fund transit ... when it benefits the people who elect them

It's been noted time and time again: The state has no problems funding the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority's Xpress buses but scoffs at helping pay to operate MARTA. Maybe it's because GRTA's "luxury coaches" primarily serve their suburban constituents.

Eric Rudolph, who's currently serving a life sentence for the 1996 Olympic bombing and other crimes, is now selling his book on a self-publishing website. It takes these two neighbors 17 minutes to drive to each other's house. Sure, they could just hop the fence. But still, sprawl is ridiculous.
