News First Slice 2/27/13: Detained illegal immigrants in Georgia released amid possible sequestration

Hundreds of illegal immigrants detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement will be released as federal budget cuts are set to kick in on March 1. In Georgia, ICE operates detention centers in Atlanta, Gainesville, Ocilla, and Lumpkin.
Clayton County has expressed that it's open to talks about the new Falcons stadium, just in case Atlanta can't work out a deal with the team. "We want to make sure they know we're interested," says Clayton County Commission Chairman Jeff Turner. Noted.
