Since late last year, I’ve carried Cynthia Arrieu-King’s collection People Are Tiny in Paintings of China at the Vouched table - it’s a brilliant, multifaceted collection that addresses the conflict between her own heritage and the culture she was raised within. It’s always really exciting to hear one of the authors represented at Vouched read their work. Thanks to Emory’s Poetry Council, Arrieu-King will be reading at What’s New In Poetry? this Thursday with Natalie Lyalin and Kate Greenstreet.
