First Slice 3/11/13: Far-right website's 'exclusive' on suburbs 'seceding' from Atlanta is your must-read article o' the day

World Net Daily, a far-right website featuring the deep thoughts of Chuck Norris and Tom Tancredo, has published an eye-opening 'exclusive' about the suburbs seceding from Atlanta. And it's hilariously bad.

Gena Evans, the bureaucrat who made waves at the Georgia Department of Transportation and then at the State Road and Tollway Authority, is leaving SRTA and will probably be replaced by Chris Tomlinson, her former second-in-command.

Lobbyist spending on Gold Dome lawmakers is way down compared to last year, thanks in part to the increased scrutiny on gifts, meals, and tickets.

Southern states have led the nation in structuring their tax codes to help lift the poor out of poverty. No, just kidding, they've made the lives of people living on low incomes absolutely miserable.

Save the trees, folks.
