Sightings

- While "Conan" was filming in Atlanta, sidekick Andy Richter visited a sundry of Atlanta attractions made up as a zombie.

- A number of the stars of Anchorman 2 were at the Final Four this weekend, and @PeachyScoop obtained an awesome picture. (I like that everyone looks normal except for Paul Rudd).

- Lauren Graham ("Gilmore Girls"), here filming A Friggin' Christmas Miracle (see below for more details), was spotted at the Whole Foods in Buckhead on Monday (Whole Foods is always a decent place to see celebrities in town; even I've run into some of them there).

Filming

- "The Vampire Diaries" filmed in Decatur to finish up last week before moving back to the Town Square in Covington as of Wednesday. Speaking of Covington, it's going to be the new home of yet another permanent stage in Atlanta ... stay tuned for more!

- Hunger Games fans: Rumor has it that Mockingjay (Part 1) could start filming here in September. The production (both parts) will shoot in Atlanta and Boston through potentially May of 2014.

- Reese Witherspoon's The Good Lie filmed near Grady High School last Friday near the intersection of Vedado and Greenwood before moving to Discover Mills this week.

- The Hallmark Channel is beginning production on a Civil Rights era film called The Watsons Go to Birmingham. According to the AJC's Rodney Ho, "The film, based on a 1995 historical fiction novel of the same name by Christopher Paul Curtis, was created by Nikki Silver and Tonya Lewis Lee, Spike Lee's wife. Lee also wrote the script and spent nine years trying to get it to air. Atlanta's acclaimed Kenny Leon will direct, as he did last year's "Steel Magnolias" remake for Lifetime. Walmart and P&G are co-sponsoring the film."

- The Cartersville Patch has photos of Burt Reynolds on the set of Hamlet and Hutch.

- Anchorman 2 filmed off Memorial Drive at Capitol Gateway on Thursday.

- AMC loves Georgia: Its pilot "Halt & Catch Fire," starring Lee Pace (details here), has been filming in Hiram; if it goes to series, it will be the third one filmed here.

- Monday, "Necessary Roughness" filmed at Clark Atlanta University.

- Everything you've ever wanted to know about "Being Mary Jane"'s filming schedule is here.

- A Friggin' Christmas Miracle, starring Lauren Graham, Robin Williams, and Joel McHale has started filming. They also need extras! Head on over to OLV for more info.

Other

- "The Vampire Diaries" is currently casting.

- Sweepstakes time: Explore Georgia is doing a giveaway to celebrate more than 40 years of film and TV shows being shot in the state. ‪Good luck! ‬

- Finally: Deon Cole Reviews Atlanta Strip Clubs.
