First Slice 6/12/13: Gov. Deal calls for reform over how prosecutors spend seized drug money

Gov. Nathan Deal wants the Criminal Justice Reform Council to look into what law enforcement officials do with seized drug money following Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard's and of Douglas County District Attorney David McDade's alleged misuse of funds.

Department of Watershed Management officials say new internal changes could mean that lower water bills are on the way for some customers.

Gwinnett County Police are searching for a man and women who they think recently stole more than $500,000 in jewelry from a Kay Jewelers during an armed robbery.

Former Atlanta Hawks guard Mookie Blaylock continues to have another rough week. A prosecutor yesterday highlighted his past record, which includes 6 DUI arrests since 1996. He faces several charges, including second-degree vehicular homicide, after killing a woman in a car crash last month.
