Marietta elected officials are reportedly considering trying to lure the Atlanta Falcons to a possible site along the Franklin Road corridor if plans for a Downtown stadium fall apart. What's not mentioned is that the team and city and state officials are expected to first pursue an alternate site located north of the Georgia World Congress Center - not another city - if a deal can't be struck with two nearby churches.

District attorney's offices might soon face greater scrutiny over how they spend cash seized from busts.

Mayor Kasim Reed on yesterday's "Meet the Press" challenged congressional critics of President Barack Obama's use of surveillance to change the law. He also opined on celebrity chef Paula Deen's admitted use of racial slurs. Guess which topic got top billing on the linked story.

A "series of artful legal and diplomatic maneuvers" have helped Edward Snowden, the former government contractor who leaked documents outlining some of the Obama administration's surveillance practices, sneak from Hong Kong to Moscow. Last we checked, the 29-year-old was now reportedly seeking asylum in Ecuador. Or maybe Cuba.

Some well-to-do New Yorkers are convincing the city - with the help of an attorney - to relocate some of its bike-share kiosks from in front of their buildings. Other groups ... well, they have not been so successful.
