Some Virginia-Highland residents think a pack of coyotes living in a vacant lot might be partly responsible for the recent disappearance of nearly 10 pets. Some residents think the clearing of overgrown land to create an expansion of Piedmont Park might have pushed the animals out of their natural habitat.

Georgia Power wants ratepayers to fork over more cash so the utility can pay for pollution upgrades and technology improvements.

Former President Jimmy Carter supports acclaimed rocket scientist Paula Deen on Friday, highlighting the philanthropic work she's done. However, he did not condone Deen's use of racial slurs.

You know who recently had their feelings hurt? The federal judges who sign off on the government's surveillance requests.
