Do aliens live amongst us?

Georgia's ethics commission has filed a complaint against Kennesaw Mayor Mark Mathews for allegedly misusing campaign funds during his bid for re-election in 2011. In question is how $670 was spent, with part of it being used to purchase raffle tickets for a drawing Mathews ended up winning and gift cards given to city department heads after his victory.

The rain that has swept over Georgia seemingly every weekend this summer has it's benefits: "The drought has been eliminated."

Chicago's O'Hare airport is inching closer to Hartsfield Jackson's title as the world's busiest. Officials say thanks to a new runway the Windy City's tarmac will indeed lay claim to the crown again later this year.

ICYMI: MARTA is asking developers to submit ideas for residential development of a large parking lot next to the King Memorial train station just east of downtown. Officials hope the project - which could feature "a mix of apartments, student housing and condos, but also stores and office buildings," according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle - will encourage foot traffic in the area and boost ridership.

Former Canadian Defence Minister Paul Hellyer says aliens are very real, that he's seen a UFO himself, and at least four species of extraterrestrials have been visiting the Earth for thousands of years. What's more, at least one of the species, the Tall Whites, is in cahoots with the U.S. government and have a base in the Nevada desert.
