"I felt like an honest accountant working for Enron."

- Former North Atlanta High School principal Mark MyGrant yesterday revealed that he was among the whistleblowers in the 2009 Atlanta Public Schools cheating scandal. He testified in court yesterday that former regional schools director Tamara Cotman handed out memos to numerous principals instructing them to tell investigators to "go to hell." MyGrant eventually told the Georgia Bureau of Investigation about the memo in exchange for immunity. "I thought it was the right thing to do ethically, professionally," he said. "I had concerns about the legality of it." (via MyAJC)
