First Slice 9/23/13: Who bought the wax Lee Harvey Oswald head at Dante's Down the Hatch estate sale?

Dante Stephenson, the owner of Dante's Down the Hatch, auctioned off just about everything in the quirky Peachtree Road restaurant on Saturday. Among the items bid on by an estimated 500 people (who paid $45 each to enter the estate auction): a wax dummy of Lee Harvey Oswald's head, antique cars, and even the fondue dishes. The congregation of Friendship Baptist Church yesterday voted to sell its property to the city to build the proposed Atlanta Falcons stadium south of the Georgia Dome. Its neighbor, Mount Vernon Baptist Church, voted to do the same earlier this week.

A Gwinnett County police officer says he's written nearly 800 citations for using their cell phones - including the GPS feature - while driving. And he's hoping to hit 1,000 before the end of the year.

And a hearty congratulations to you, "Breaking Bad." The AMC show, which ends next Sunday, won Best Drama at last night's 65th annual Emmy Awards.
