Someone cranked up the AJC's Fib-O-Tabulator Truth-O-Meter! The mysterious machine says that Atlanta City Council District 5 candidate Matt Rinker's claims about incumbent Natalyn Archibong, including her voting to increase her pay and attendance at meetings, should be rated as "mostly false."

Breaking: Expert says type of senseless shooting that happened at one place could happen at another.

Bernard Goetz, the New York vigilante who launched a national debate about gun control, race, and self-defense after he shot several young men on the subway, is back in the news.

Worth reading behind the AJC paywall: The state is trying to clamp down on inferior Vidalia onions - and some farmers are none too pleased.
