ATLwood: The Most Important Couple in the World

Sightings:
- The Most Important Couple in the World had dinner last Friday at Pappadeux.
- Ciara was seen at Phipps.
- ICYMI, one of the sons of the prodigiously wealthy and newly controversial Duck Dynasty family (Jep) was in town recently. He had to say, in part, "We've had kind of a crazy week back home. We've gotten a lot of support. We really appreciate it." (Also.)

Castings:
- Are you reading this on Friday before 1 p.m.? Drop Dead Diva is hosting a casting call today! It's from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Southcrest Bank Shopping Plaza, 105 Stephens St., in Tyrone. They need experienced stand-ins, female models, lawyer types, real medical staff, twins, African-American men, women with '70s-style hair, and people of mixed ethnicity. Attendees are advised to arrive in their best "fashionable upscale event outfit." Register yourself here.
- The Originals needs Shining-like twin boys for filming Jan. 8 in Milledgeville.

Filming Updates:
- The rumor is that Edgar Wright's Ant-Man will film in the city since its preferred London studio is alreay booked; what isn't a rumor is that Paul Rudd will star.
- Rectify, Sundance's suuuper contemplative post-prison drama, is in pre-production on season 2 this month.
- USA's Neil, Inc. filmed at Ponce and Piedmont.

Payoffs & Deals:
- Sundance's The Red Road, built from the usually testy/tasty elements of cable drama (men, conflict), has released its first trailer. (The series wrapped production in Atlanta last fall.)
- Todd Chrisley is a local millionaire. But the USA Network, which recently gave him a new reality show, would rather we think of him as a "patriarch of perfection."
- BET's Reed Between the Lines, which has already filmed an entire second season, won't actually come back to air.
- Hey look another Lifetime reality series about competitive women.

Miscellany:
- Garrison Kiellor's A Prairie Home Companion, which has been running for basically ever and which was turned into a gorgeous, late-Robert Altman film back in the aughts, will be coming to the Fox in May. Here for more.
- Here's a clip of the Michael Bay-produced Welcome to Yesterday, which filmed in the city. And here's an interview Jennifer Brett did with one of its stars.
- Herchel Walker cooks! (Of course he does. Have you not been to his restaurant in Athens?)
- Here is a list.
- Here is another list.
