Like plays? Murals? Dancer performances? Arts advocates would like your help urging Fulton County commissioners not to reduce arts funding in the county's budget.

If you see a bunch of guys on the street trying to sell you thousands of dollars worth of rifles, start slowly walking backward and call the police. They might be members of the crew that rammed a car through a Newnan gun store and made off with more than $70,000 in guns.

Some efforts to spark special districts around Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport that would allow commercial property owners to pay for road and streetscape improvements are hitting some snags thanks to bureaucracy, officials say. But they add that the community improvement districts are moving ahead.


A DeKalb County man who was carjacked earlier this month - and whose vehicle was returned - was recently (and wrongly) detained by police when they spotted the vehicle. Police are saying a database was not updated to reflect the car's return.

A Georgia State University student has filed a lawsuit against Georgia Tech's Phi Gamma Delta chapter alleging she was drugged and abused during a 2012 party.
