Keep your eyes on the Atlanta City Council today. The legislative body is expected to vote on proposals that could have major impacts on how the area surrounding the $1.2 billion Atlanta Falcons stadium will look. You can watch live here.

A DJ at the Velvet Room was transported to the hospital early this morning after a shootout outside the DeKalb County club with police. The club was hosting an album release party for Sean "Diddy" Combs and Rick "I don't know what the hell I'm going to do with this massive house" Ross.

Dorothy Galloway, who for decades has provided healthcare to the city's LGBT community, is retiring.

All week long, men and women are lining up to qualify for elections to decide governor, secretary of state, attorney general, and who will serve under the Gold Dome. Follow the fun here!

In addition, today is Crossover Day at the Gold Dome! Legislation that fails to pass either the House or Senate is effectively dead for the legislative session. (Bad - and good - ideas could always get attached to other pieces of legislation.)

And congrats to Steve McQueen and the cast of "12 Years a Slave." The film won Best Picture at last night's ho-hum Academy Awards ceremony.

ICYMI: The Walton County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday night will view new information in the decades-old and unsolved Moore's Ford Bridge lynching.
