On the Atlanta City Council's agenda today, among other items: A proposal to condemn land needed for the Atlanta Beltline's southwest segment trail so officials don't run the risk of losing federal funds speeding up the project, David Pendered reports.

The stretch of Peachtree Street just south of North Avenue - let's stop using the phrase 'SoNo' - is set to receive some streetscape improvements including plantings and sharrows, courtesy of the Midtown Alliance.
