Posted By on Mon, Jun 30, 2014 at 8:09 AM

Step right up!
* Early voting to decide the July 22 primary runoffs has begun!

* Ginny Looney, the city's first ethics officer and a government transparency advocate, has died.

* Mayor Kasim Reed and Atlanta business leaders, in one of their regular sitdowns, have decided to create a nonprofit that will raise cash to help revitalize English Avenue, Vine City, Ashview Heights, the Atlanta University Center, and other westside neighborhoods.

* What does Atlanta get if the civilian authority overseeing the redevelopment of Fort McPherson sells a chunk of the former military base to filmmaker Tyler Perry? Well, in addition to production studio jobs, "greenspace." Until recently, Mayor Kasim Reed said some of the nearly 500-acre property could be used for affordable housing.

* Facebook has been conducting a secret psychology experiment with users' news feeds. This news will cause approximately none of Facebook's users to delete their accounts.
