Filming Updates:
>> Ant-Man officially began its production in Atlanta earlier this week. Tuesday, exactly. Lots more news is below, so keep scrolling.

>> At some point, probably, Kevin Hart and Ice Cube will drive an electric blue car in Ride Along 2.

>> “Constantine” filmed off Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth this week, and then at Lavista and Briarcliff Roads.

>> ABC’s “Resurrection” is back to work in McDonough.

Sightings:
>> Kevin Hart got engaged to girlfriend Eniko Parrish at the “trendy” Yebo on Monday night. Yebo owner Justin Anthony has your scoop over here.

Deals:
>> T.I. has joined the Ant-Man cast. No word on his role yet, though it will be his biggest screen role to date.

>> Sundance’s “Rectify,” which I cannot abide for reasons so granular and yet abstract that I mostly just change the channel rather than voice them, has been renewed for as third season. It is well liked! And to be fair, it is very very Georgian, but like Georgian through a looking-glass, you know?

>> More renewal news: MTV’s “Finding Carter” and AMC’s “Halt and Catch Fire,” both homegrown, have been renewed for seasons 2.

Miscellany:
>> Ant-Man could and may be many different things as a movie, since it hasn’t actually really been made yet. But some promo images from its production have been made. Like this one. Look at that Paul Rudd frown!

>> Add the Ride Along 2 crew to the list of those who have accepted the “ice bucket challenge.”

>> Sarah Jones’ death while working on the set of Midnight Rider this winter was, first, a tragedy. It then sparked a lawsuit and various investigations. OSHA has now cited one of the film’s production companies for “one willful and one serious safety violation for exposing employees to struck-by and fall hazards.” The proposed fine? $74,900.

>> Brett Baier, formerly Fox News’ first-ever Atlanta correspondent, will be back in town Sunday for a book signing at the Greater Atlanta Christian School.

>> Paula Deen, formerly scheduled for a local appearance on Aug. 26, has had to reschedule for Nov. 16.
