Art Beats + Lyrics celebrates 10th anniversary with Master P

• PAINT DRIP: Miami-based artist Kazilla’s wall installation from last year’s Art Beats + Lyrics show. Kazilla is one of the featured artists for this year’s event.

The multi-medium arts showcase that preceded a 24/7 digital radio station of the same name is returning for it’s 10th year. Art Beats + Lyrics, Jabari Graham’s traveling visual arts and music tour will once again take over the Compound for its Atlanta stop on Fri., Oct. 3. After ATL, AB+L heads to Birmingham, Ala., on Nov. 14, and then touches down in St. Louis on Dec. 5.

This year’s musical headliner for ATL is Master P, but no word on whether he’s going to pull up in the gold tank from the “Make ‘Em Say Uhh!” video. On the art side of things, Dungeon Family pyramid builder, Fabian Williams, The Happy Rapper photographer, Diwang Valdez, and AB+L co-producer and visual artist Dubelyoo.
