Atlanta residents should have an idea of what will replace Turner Field and more than 70 acres of adjacent land in the near future. Mayor Kasim Reed says in an interview that a deal might be finalized “very soon.” Will the city work with Georgia State University and Carter or another private group?

Tesla Motors wants a Georgia judge to toss out a petition from local auto dealers that seeks to prevent the electric car manufacturer from directly selling its vehicles at dealers throughout the state.

A Clayton County daycare has released surveillance footage of one of its workers kicking a 20-month-old toddler and fracturing his arm. The employee, who was charged with simple battery, hasn’t been terminated by the daycare following the incident.
