Jeb Bush, Ludacris straight chillin’ at the Gold Dome

Future running mates, hmmmm?

Two unlikely figures spent some time hanging out at the Gold Dome this morning. Both Atlanta rapper Ludacris and Jeb Bush, a former Florida governor and potential Republican presidential candidate, stopped by the Georgia Capitol.

Ludacris, who was being recognized for the Ludacris Foundation’s work, is no stranger to politics. He appeared with Gov. Nathan Deal last year at the Utopian Academy for the Arts in Clayton County and Mayor Kasim Reed on multiple occasions. He even stumped for U.S. Senate hopeful Jim Martin in 2008. But he was the opener for Bush, who spoke briefly about education.

“I actually came here today because I heard Ludacris was gonna be here,” Bush joked.
