Warnock: Confederate flags at Ebenezer, MLK visitor center 'an act of domestic terrorism'
APD says two white males are seen on surveillance footage leaving flags
"To place Confederate flags on the campus of Ebenezer Baptist Church after this horrific act in Charleston, in the wake of all that's happening in our country, whatever the message was, it was clearly not about heritage. It was about hate... It is the kind of statement that we would characterize as a terroristic threat... This is the same as a swastika on the campus of a Jewish temple. This is an act of domestic terrorism, a terroristic threat."
? — Ebenezer Baptist Church Rev. Raphael Warnock, speaking after four Confederate flags were found at the church and Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site Visitor Center. Atlanta Police say they have surveillance video of two white males placing the flags.
