CEO Virginia Hepner wants more people to hang out at the Woodruff Arts Center

“We have great art but we don’t have enough community engagement. We will be taking art to the people.”

- Virginia Hepner, president and CEO of the Woodruff Arts Center, said on Friday at a Buckhead breakfast meeting, reported the AJC. The arts center is almost to their $100 million by 2018 goal, less than a year after its announcement, thanks to their Transformation campaign. Plans to redesign parts of the center and more outreach plans are currently in the works to attract more city residents to the Midtown complex.
