Re: “Customer chains himself to Aurora Coffee in VaHi

To "I mean really": As the girl who held the 'keys' to his cuffs, I can assure you his intentions were sweet, fun spirited and an honor to all the awesome folks that have sipped coffee inside over the years. As a side, Dictionary.com defines heroic as: "Behavior or talk that is bold or dramatic." Chaining yourself to a coffee shop? Pretty bold I'd say.

He's protesting because Aurora has been a community "place" for years. Its a gathering place for many people and its sad that it is closing.

While protesting on behalf of Aurora, he was robbed by 3 men with a silver hand gun.

A hero? Chaining himself for his beliefs? This guy chained himself to a pole because he doesn't want the coffee shop to close. He's not protesting a rainforest being destroyed....it's a fucking coffee shop. What the hell are you people applauding? I would be more concerned about contacting his therapist.

Go regular customer dude. Sad situation for my 'hood. Virginia-Highlands is losing the minimal cool it has remaining. Do we really need more Murphy's, etc.?

Absolutely a loss for Atlanta. Where is that girl going to have her Hot Cocoa?! Send the landlord my way. Renew the lease!

See:
The Carolinas
The Dakotas
The Americas

the + Plural = multiple areas that have a common root.

"" If you had a festival celebrating the food of Western France and Eastern France, would you call it "Taste of Frances"? ""

If I had an event with food from South Carolina and North Carolina I would certainly call it "Taste of the Carolinas". If I have an event with food from Highland Ave and North Highland Ave, that included the separate neighborhoods Poncey-Highland and Virginia-Highland, I would certainly call it "Taste of the Highlands."

Re: “The United Nations suggests some six-legged additions to our diets

I mean we eat shrimp and lobster and crab which are basically sea bugs even if the market generally wants them without the ugly exoskeleton. Land bugs are most likely to be incorporated into sausage and the like.

Cliff, what did you think of the chicken heart taco with kimchi? I miss the pickled onions that they used to use instead.
