Local art gallery owners representing this vandal would be hypocritical to object to anyone tagging their buildings without their permission. One wonders if HENSE (Alex Brewer) would mind if someone tagged his canvasses while they are being shown at these galleries.
From Steve Slotin's photo, it's pretty clear that he's WAAAAY hot...
Here's what you don't know about HENSE the graffitti artist:
He lives at home in his mothers Dunwoody basement.
Worked at McDonalds in high school (20 years ago).
Delivers pizzas in his moms old Buick.
Finally. and this is not cool- he's balding.
Some outlaw huh?
Hey Hense the famous graffitti boy- . How about giving us your address so we can paint up your crib and your ride? Where you stay?
homass89/5points
can't wait to send my attorneys and the APD to the idiot galleries who are showing this punks work. he's owes us a lot of money for damages to our properties.
ps: hense must be getting long in the tooth (old) which is not cool...
Ellen Beattie is really cute!!!
The only reason the galleries and dealers is the only way for them to get their art "seen and sold" at the charade known as folkfest isn't because the artists aren't "equipped" it's because folkfest doesn't allow individual artists to exhibit and sell their own work. It's galleries and dealers only. Why? Because folkfest and the galleries are all about keeping buyers away from artists so folkfest and the galleries can keep scamming the artists. Don't buy from folkfest...buy from the artists. Then the artists will get the support they need to live and make art.
SC sounds a little slow or disabled. Folk Fest is now, and has been since its inception, a show for all folks. I agree that you should know what you are buying, but isn't that just common sense. Most artists are not equiped to sell to the public and a show like FF and the participating galleries and dealers is their only way to get their art seen and sold. I will be there for the 15th year straight.
Folk Fest now is covered up with "fake" folk artists, many of whom "act" slow or disabled just to cash in on unsuspecting uninformed naive "collectors." Do your research. Avoid "folk fests" and buy directly from artists - the real folk artists don't see a dime of the money Folk Fest takes! Folk Fest = Wal Mart
No doubt will be attending the Slotin Folk Art Fest this weekend then

It sure would be nice to know exactly what channel I can catch "This is Atlanta" on.
To jump on the band wagon, yes! The Avett Brothers are amazing. Their live shows are indescribable but they will blow your mind.
monk(ey) in a cave! heh- looking forward to meeting you at the show david! your work is so over-the-top impressive.

It's hard to be openly bi. They usually get harassed, beaten up, pushed around and called all kinds of slurs.
So I think for GLBT, they'd better find some online community or something like that, to come out first, where they may feel support, happy, free, like the one "BisexualMingle dotcom" is a good place for them.
Loved the show. Heard you're gonna do a closing show as well. CAN"T WAIT! This guy draws all the stuff for my band The Despised too! Geez Rod, you're so selfish you forgot to promote me?
THIS MAN IS THE KING!

LOL sounds a lot like me, i'd draw instead of listening to my teachers. When i approached my high school counselor about going to art school, she laughed and said " your not going to want to do that" and here i am 14 years out of H.S and im an artist... I would love to laugh in her face now....good job man keep it real http://snazyink.com/
Saw his stuff at Vinson. Worth checking out.
I think your doing what you need to do. I wish I could see more of your stuff, but like everyone else i'm sure i'm not looking in the right places. I miss you.
Hense - your artwork is awesome and I especially like the bold colors and style you use. I've tried to contact you via emails from Felicia above about including your art in an upcoming fundraiser. If interested/willing to participate, please let me know the best way to reach you directly. Cheers!
