Re: “Salman Rushdie's Midnight's Children hits theatres

I can see Rushdie's stuff adapting well. Lots of plot to play with.

Re: “It's bigger than 'Love and Hip Hop'

"So why, in the midst of breaking so much ground, is Scott-Young reviled among so many women of color?"

It's very interesting to watch the popularity of her shows in that for as much as there people complaining about the content, there are millions are viewers tuning in, talking about her "characters" as if the know them throughout social media. There must be something good about this since the numbers are there, right? Honestly the 'drama' of her shows are no different than any other reality show--White or Black. However, I do think it points to this DESIRE for more diversity on TV, more about life from the African American perspective.

It's funny to hear this lady defend her product. She knows and well all know how much scum it is. But she didn't start the scum party so she figures why not get it while the gettin is good like most everyone else.

Can't blame her I guess. People tune in.

Re: “The ATL Twins are Spring Breakers forever

I've met these guys. They have come into the store where I work on several occasions and they have been nothing but respectful. The absolute shitty part about this article is the writers clear disdain for the twins. Big deal they want to be rich and famous. For me, their worst crime is doing coke and even that only hurts them.
When I read an article I just want the facts not you opinion which is what this article was.

Re: “The ATL Twins are Spring Breakers forever

A friend of mine saw them standing outside Center Stage the night of that Die Antwoord show, trying to convince the door guy that they were on the guest list. What a couple of hillbilly losers.

Re: “The ATL Twins are Spring Breakers forever

They bragged about being in the movie Spring Breakers but then in the movie James Franco is pretty much mocking people like them the whole time. They have no lines at all. It seems the only reason they were in the movie, was to have them on set so James Franco could get a first hand look on what type of people he is making fun of. It's the most absurd, ridiculous, hilarious movie I've seen in a while.

Re: “Speakeasy: Allen Hughes and Mark Wahlberg

Too bad the guy Marky Mark blinded during a hate crime won't be able to see this flick. Or is that a blessing in disguise? I've never liked this prick since I found out about that.
