Neko has the best perspective. It's the old game of cat and mouse. The cat loves the mouse as long as its resisting. When the mouse quits resisting the cat isn't interested. This goes both ways in the game of love.
Physical chemistry is essential but long term, the mutual interests are the keys to keep it going outside the bedroom and build something besides a long list of women/ men tossed on the ole sex scrap heap.

No.
Even if this particular homosexual is in control of his emotions (except for the bit when he gets proud, and denies being attracted to men because they're "fat, oafish and dull"), many are not.
Why are many homosexuals not in control of their emotions?
-frustration about their relatively low selection
-frustration about being mostly rejected by much of society
-possibility of slight increase in "feminine" gene expression (this is controversial and not 100% proven)
-simple masculine urge to establish dominance over their object of affection (especially in ones trying to be "type A")
The worst ones are the ones who turn passive-aggressive, since they know that too much overt aggression will often place them in a losing situation.
