Music: Criminal Records' Record Store Day

Sat., April 19

Criminal Records celebrates its first RECORD STORE DAY Sat., APRIL 19, along with hundreds of independently owned record stores across the country. A national movement intended to raise awareness of record store culture and mom and pop record shops, Criminal's Record Store Day features performances by local acts Anna Kramer & the Lost Cause, Andy Hull (Manchester Orchestra), the Coathangers, Hope for Agoldensummer, Judi Chicago, Janelle Monáe, Trances Arc and more, as well as DJs between live sets. Local indie labels will be on hand to sell their goods in the sidewalk sale, and there will be a vinyl record swap meet where folks can bring their unwanted albums and trade with others.
