APS Live Blog: Orrrrr not

In today's cover story about APS redistricting, we included a tease that said we would post the live blog from last night's Political Party discussion about this issue. (You should have come. We had cookies!) Of course, I changed my mind right before the event and asked Thomas to simply live tweet it from the @cl_atlanta account. Why? Because we're nimble digital wizards! We adapt on the fly! And, frankly, seemed easier. Thanks for those that showed and read online. The next one will be on the regional transportation tax (T-SPLOST, ya'll) that voters will decide on in July. Prepare yourselves accordingly.

Also, I should point out that, because I have a public school education through junior college, I'm smart enough to write a long story about this topic. But because I spent two years at a private college (go Ponies), I'm lazy and sloppy enough to include at least one stupid mistake in every story I write. In the print edition, where I should have said that Mary Lin would be split up in certain scenarios, I say it would be closed. I are not smart, and that just proves it.

That said, I will be trying to blog more about this debate as it goes on for the next few months, and I look forward to discussing the issue with you CLers. No, seriously. I do. That's not sarcasm.
