Dance: The Dance Project

Thurs.-Sun., Jan. 21-24

Although THE DANCE PROJECT is their fourth collaboration, Emory Dance faculty members Gregory Catellier and George Staib's choreography is anything but predictable. Each choreographer will present three new works that are highly physical and emotional, but nothing like their earlier dances. Catellier's mostly male dancers take on Bach's "Chaconne," while Staib focuses on theatricality and original movement. Special ticket prices for performances by Independent Choreographers Exchange are also available. $9-$28. Thurs.-Sat., 8 p.m.; Sun., 3 p.m.; ICE performances: Jan. 23, 3 p.m.; Jan. 24, 7 p.m. 7 Stages Theatre, 1105 Euclid Ave. 404-523-7647.
