Film: Playground

Tues., Oct. 20

Atlanta has gained the appalling reputation of becoming one of the top cities in the nation to engage in child sex trafficking. Director Libby Spears brings awareness and immediate action to the issue with the premiere of her documentary PLAYGROUND, produced by George Clooney, Grant Heslov and Steven Soderbergh. The film is dedicated to the late Judge Sanford Jones, and all proceeds will be donated to the Center to End Adolescent Sexual Exploitation. $15-$125. 6 p.m. Woodruff Arts Center, Symphony Hall, 1280 Peachtree St. 404-733-5000.
