Music: Reverend Horton Heat

Sun.-Mon., Feb. 28-March 1

The REVEREND HORTON HEAT exposes his split personality over a two-night bill divided into Sunday's "psycho" night, when Heat and the boys will be performing the more edgy, sleazy, and loud material. The swarthy Grinder Nova is on the bill Sunday night, whose mix of sultry bossa nova and Latin-tinged go-go dance music is just right. In part two of the psychobilly double header, Heat's hardboiled country side gets equal time, making Monday the "billy" night. Local redneck underground stalwarts Caroline & the Ramblers open the show with a perfect mix of torch and twang. $20. Sun.-Mon., 8 p.m. The Earl, 488 Flat Shoals Ave. 404-522-3950. www.badearl.com.
