Music: Wailers

Fri., Jan. 1

Reggae royalty rolls through town when WAILERS bassist Aston "Familyman" Barrett leads the group's current lineup for a show of time-tested, Rasta-approved classics. Aston has served as the group's centerpiece since his brother, drummer Carlton, died in 1987. For this show, the group will run through a set of recent numbers as well as pretty much everything that has made the Wailers a staple of Jamaican music for more than 40 years. The Supervillains and I-Tegrity open the show. $20. 8 p.m. Masquerade, 695 North Ave. 404-577-8178.
