Opera: Carmen

Thurs.-Sun., April 22-25

Let's thank God this is nothing like the MTV version. Georgia State University School of Music and Rialto Center for the Arts present Bizet's CARMEN, the story of a young and seductive woman and the triangle fiasco that results from her lack of consideration in love. The unforgettable music, suspenseful storyline, and fiery and explosive ending will keep you at the edge of your seat. Get there early for a flamenco dance lesson in the lobby. $11-$48. Thurs.-Sat., 8 p.m.; Sun., 3 p.m. Rialto Center for the Arts, 80 Forsyth St. 404-413-9800. www.rialtocenter.org.
