Theater: Our Town

Wed., Feb. 24

True Colors Theatre Company pays an unconventional visit to Grover's Corners when artistic director Kenny Leon directs Thornton Wilder's OUR TOWN. Leon's production will break from tradition by casting African-American actors (including Donna Biscoe and Neal Ghant) as the Gibbs family and other characters in the iconic New England town. The cast includes Mark Kincaid, Jill Jane Clements and Bill Murphey, with Daniel May and Ellis "Skeeter" Williams sharing duties as the show's all-knowing narrator. "Nice town, know what I mean?" Through March 21. $20-$35. Wed.-Fri., 8 p.m.; Sat., 2:30 and 8 p.m.; Sun., 2:30 p.m. Southwest Arts Center, 915 New Hope Road. 404-588-0308. truecolorstheatre.org.
