Visual art: Recent Works

Mon., May 11

Jiha Moon and Nate Moore reshape Eastern art traditions like so many paper cranes in RECENT WORKS, the pair's duet currently at the Robert C. Williams Paper Museum. Moon's dense, cobwebbed paintings present the grist of Korean fairy tales shot through with hallucinogenic pop cultural references and color-soaked cloud matter. Meanwhile, Moore's origami "jets" made from swatches of magazine pages and old science books turn militarism inside out, replacing the fog of war with dignity and quiet order. Through May 22. Free. Mon.-Fri., 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Georgia Tech, 500 10th St. 404-894-7840. www.ipst.gatech.edu.
