Alix Kenagy dons burka

Posted by Cliff Bostock on Mon, Oct 1, 2007 at 3:36 PM

Here's some gossip: Longtime Atlantans remember two pivotal restaurants in the Morningside area — Partners and Indigo Coastal Grill. They were the work of Alix Kenagy, who moved to Brunswick about 10 years ago. There, she opened Cargo Portside Grill, which is now operated by her daughter Kate. Alix married a few years ago and, according to my source, the couple moved this week to Kuwait for a year. Her husband landed a contract of some sort there. It's good to know that Alix, a former editor at Creative Loafing and fashion writer for Atlanta magazine, is as adventurous as ever.
