Food & Life Now taking Thanksgiving orders

I thought you'd like to see this Southern delicacy: a 'possum. This is the fourth one my partner Wayne has coaxed into a cat carrier after the beasts raided our cats' food. That's not 10 feet from where I was sitting Sunday night.
This is a young one, but the earlier ones were all teenage-size.
When I was a kid, our maid, Bessie Thomas, used to catch a 'possum for her Thanksgiving meal. She'd fatten it on persimmons she picked from a tree in our back yard.
