Ah, another Drunksgiving--I mean, THANKSGIVING--at the Highlander for me this year. Next year I'll be married and somehow don't think my husband will be as tickled as I am by ingesting a turkey dinner with heavy metal, lots of booze, and a layer of cigarette smoke as thick as blue cream. Nonetheless, the turkey dinner at the Highlander is actually quite decent. They give you as much food as your family would've forced you to eat anyway, but at least the bartenders and waitresses don't ask you what you're doing with your life and why they don't have grandbabies yet.

don't forget about Sawicki's and also the Pharm House, both in downtown Decatur. Both offer Thanksgiving dinners to-go (I believe you can pick and choose what you want or order the whole shebang), both use incredible ingredients and both cook them like yo mama wishes she could! http://www.sawickismeatseafoodandmore.com/files/36654562.pdf http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?v=app_2344061033&ref=profile&id=100000381794751#/event.php?eid=181279708009&index=1
