Gee i wonder... why a former CL staffer is getting all this love from CL... gotta be in the loop, as they say...
Ahhhh, NOW I get it. But honestly, I just figured this out. I got an email about this from someone within the company who lived in NY when said "former CL staffer" worked here. The person who passed it on to me didn't know there was a connection, and neither did I, until just now. Which is not to say I wouldn't have posted this if I had known, but I would have mentioned that one of the organizers used to work here. Even so, I hardly think one blog post counts as "all this love"...
I can attest - there's no conspiracy. The last thing we'd want is a food critic as talented as Besha visiting us on opening night; I deliberately didn't email her. But I'm definitely impressed that you pieced together my identity and where I worked in '06, M Rg - Hats off!
