News / Gossip / Restaurants Six Feet Under in Grant Park moving

We heard a rumor last week that Six Feet Under in Grant Park will be moving out of its much-loved location, and today the liquor license process showed the rumor to be true. Six Feet Under has applied for a license at 437 Memorial Drive, just across Cherokee from the current location. That's in the Jane lofts, by our reckoning. We'll keep you posted as the story develops...

Cliff, have you heard anything about Grant Park Bistro in the old Jake's location?

The old Jake's location? I'm not sure where that is. Tell me more. Are you talking about the Standard-related place?

I think Ana means where Hank's used to be (across from the zoo), not Jakes.

When Javaology closed, one of the baristas mentioned that she was aiming to open a cafe/coffeehouse in that old Hank's location...maybe it's happening. By the way...the old Javaology space is getting something new soon too.

If you peak through the window outside Grant Park Urban Bistro, you can see the menu written on the chalkboard. Looks like a few sandwiches, salads, and ice cream. No opening date posted yet though.
