Events Hurry and get your pig and figs

Slow Food Atlanta has a bunch of events coming up, including this one featuring my favorite summertime figs:
Event: Big Fig Pig JigLocation: TaylOrganic Farm in Ellenwood
Time: 2-6pm
Join us for an old-fashioned Pig Roast featuring Farmer Neil Taylor’s Fig BBQ sauce, heirloom tomato salad, fig gelato, fig tarts, and muscaberry blue juice. Pick your own figs to take home! Cost of the event is $35 per person. To reserve your spot, contact figfest@gmail.com or call 404-964-6086.
